FIRST TIME IN DOLOMITIES - Max 7a HELP!?

Hey everybody could you guys help me. Me and my wife planning to go to Dolomities in the September. We like sport climbs short pitch max 7a and multipitchs around 6b. Could you recomend some good routes something like MUST GO!?

Maybe we will meet with our friends from Canada they like Trad big walls, so I think they would like to go for soma trad. They can climb around 7a trad...

I will apprieciate any ideas.We have around 2-3 weeks for climbing.

Hi, I've never been in dolomites, but if you have 3weeks of holydays you have to spend at the least 1week in Lecco! Here you can find all that you want..... maybe not Big Big Big wall, but a lot of multipitch and shortpitch for every level of difficult.

Hi, I've never been in dolomites, but if you have 3weeks of holydays you have to spend at the least 1week in Lecco! Here you can find all that you want..... maybe not Big Big Big wall, but a lot of multipitch and shortpitch for every level of difficult.

italy is very small respect canada but not so small; the dolomites region is big...
how many days are you going to spend in dolomites?
In which kind of accomodation are you going to sleep?
do you will rent a car?

and multipitchs around 6b. !

the dolomites are famous becouse is a "spit free" zone;
in only few and secondary mountains you can find bolted multipitch

Ahò, prendiamo poco per i fondelli Voghera! Peraltro ho appreso da poco che, proprio vicino a dove ho abitato per oltre vent'anni, hanno aperto una sala boulder che prima o poi dovrò visitare (quando vado a trovare i miei pochi parenti rimasti in zona). Magari qualcuno c'è mai stato?

Thank you for all coments, we going to come with our car, probabally stay in some camping or maybe some guest house , but more important in this stage for us is to determine which areas we should visit!

near(few than 1 our by foot) you can find....2 small but beautiful sport climbing spot, some sports multipich and all you want trad climb...

Let's start from the beginning: "Gracia" is Spanglish.
The right Italian spelling is "Grazie".

Then, IMHO you shouldn't miss the Sella area (you can choose among 4 different valleys which surround the Sella massif: Canazei, Selva di Val Gardena -or Ortisei-, Corvara and Arabba are the main "villages" in such valleys) and the Falzarego Pass area.
Pale di San Martino is another not-to-be-missed massif, a bit "wilder" than previous two (longer walk-ins and descents, etc.).

September is a good season: it's less crowded than August (when everybody and his dog in Italy is on holiday) and usually there's less of afternoon storms than July/August.

Guest houses/B&B/hotels are everywhere, just google for them.
Camping: usually in Italy they are not so cheap. There are a few in each area I mentioned.
