Raccomandate vie nelle Dolomiti

Ciao a tutti!
Io e i miei amici abbiamo un programma di viaggiare in Italia in macchina. Pensiamo di andare nelle Dolomiti per 5 giorni e fare qualche trekking, ma non posso scegliere dove di bello - ci sono tanti sentieri e tante possibilita`. Anche vogliamo visitare qualche falesia con vie di arrampicata fra 5 e 7+ UIAA.

Ti proporrei, comunque, la Val di Fassa o la zona di Cortina...

Molta gente, ma se non conoscete le DOlomiti, dovete conoscere queste meraviglie.

Proppongo Canazei in Val di Fassa, da dove potete fare sia trek che arrampicate di OGNI grado.

Idem per Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Potete avere anche ottime "falesie", oltre che vie alpinistiche...

Actually, I am trying to practise my Italian, but in English is much much easier for me (although not a native language:).

We are a group of 3 people and want to do 4-5 days trekking in the Dolomiti for the first time, may be in the region of Bolzano or Cortina d' Ampezzo. Probably we can see the famous Tre Cime? We want to combine this with some climbing. I think we will take only equipment for sport climbing, as we will have a lot of luggage and one of the boys is not a climber. I am searching for a climbing area with routs between 5 (for me) and 7+ for my boyfriend. I also have to think where we can sleep? Is it allowed to sleep in tents in the mountain or only in camps or huts?
Any recommendations for what is worth to see are welcome:)))

don't worry for the language, my English is certainly poorer than Your Italian.

Anyway...

If You want to see the famous Tre Cime and have some nice place for sport climbing, I suggest You go somewhere close to Cortina d'Ampezzo.

There You can have nice trips and treks arounf the Tre Cime, the Tofanas, all the other fantastic 3000 igh mountains you will see all around...

Then, when You are tired of walking, just go to the fantastic Cinque Torri (20 min from Cortina) and, in a fantastic scenario, you can hve fantastic sport climbing in the best arena You can imagine.

Another very good place is at Pasos Falzarego, Lagazuoi or Sass de Stria, nice sport climbing close to alpine routes...

Ho saputo che in italiano itinerario significa trekking route, e` vero? Allora, cerco in Internet un itinerario per circa 4 giorni e 4-6 ore camminata per il giorno.

I am also searching in Internet for a climbing guide for the climbing areas near Cortina or Val fi Fassa........

So, in Cortina d'Ampezzo I would suggest the following:

1st day: tour of Tre Cime di Lavaredo (some 4 hours, from rifugio Auronzo to Rifugio Locatelli and back to Auronzo

2nd day, Tour of Monte Cristallo, via ferrata Dibona (some 5-6 hours

3rd day Trek around Nuvolau, Averau, Cinque Torri

$th day Trek, possibly also with ferrata, to the Tofanas...

Climbing routes: sport climbing at Cinque Torri, Lagazuoi, Sass de Stria.

Just search in goggle for arrampicata sportiva cinque torri

arrampicata sportiva lagazuoi

you'll find all the infos and maps you need.

Ciao di nuovo! Mi piaciono molto le idea , che mi avete dato!!! Grazie mille! Dobbiamo partire 8 agosto, ma ho visto la previsione - il tempo sara` brutto! Pensiamo di fare forse un viaggio breve da Firenze e poi andare al Nord! Secondo voi, che cosa possiamo fare in vicino a Cortina, se il tempo rimarra` cattivo?

Hello again, I would like to thank for the good advices!!! My vacation in the Dolomiti was great! We had only 3 days, so we went to the Tre Cime, Ivano Dibona and did some climbing at the Crepe di Oucera! I am looking forward to going there again next year! Grazie mille!
